I am dyslexic

Created by a 12-year-old dyslexic, the site contains problems, solutions, quizzes and a message board for children and teenagers; a useful site to illustrate to children that they are not alone.

Innovative Adaptations

This Canadian site produces an adapted workbook with lesson plans for children with special needs; there are downloadable sample worksheets for maths and literacy.

Special Educational Needs Information Technology (SENIT)

Plenty of hints and tips for teachers and SENCOs, on using ICT to support special needs. There are also tutorials, downloads and 'just a minute' tips - an idiosyncratic but helpful site.

DIAL UK

DIAL UK is a national network of local Disability Information and Advice Line services run by and for, disabled people. The website provides information on equipment, benefits, care, holidays, mobility and issues of discrimination.

Behaviour 4 Learning

Aimed primarily at teacher trainers, this site also contains information for all education professionals who would like resources on positive approaches in managing behaviour inside and outside the classroom.
